We Are Hiring: Investment Banking Associates

Northborne is seeking Associates to join our team. The Associate position at Northborne provides an excellent opportunity to work in a high energy, collaborative, team-oriented environment where your contribution is important and valued from the start. Successful candidates will have strong leadership and communication skills, exceptional financial acumen and writing skills, and be motivated to build the leading M&A advisory firm to serve the needs of closely-held clients.

The Associate position at Northborne involves significant client interaction. Associates help manage day-to-day interactions with senior leadership of our clients and participate in key interactions with potential buyers. In addition, Associates are expected to be mentors for Analysts and support new business development initiatives.

Associate Responsibilities

• Preparing confidential information presentations and management presentations

• Reviewing valuations and financial models

• Interacting with senior bankers and clients’ senior executives

• Participating in client pitches

• Hosting visits by potential buyers at client facilities

• Supporting senior bankers during transaction negotiations

• Facilitating due diligence and transaction closings

Qualifications

The Associate position at Northborne offers an excellent learning experience and provides a solid foundation upon which an individual can build a future business career. Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:

• 3+ years business experience. Prior investment banking or transaction services experience is favored, but not required for the right candidate

• Exceptional financial / accounting knowledge; mastery of Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
