Joe is a Senior Advisor at Northborne Partners and serves on the firm’s Advisory Board. Joe has over three decades of experience working with manufacturers and distributors in the industrial automation industry. He spent 19 years with Honeywell, and was the CEO of BRAAS Company, an ESOP owned distributor of industrial automation products, when it was acquired by Motion Industries in 2016. Joe served as President of Motion Industries’ Automation Solutions Group before retiring in January 2021. Over the course of his career, Joe oversaw significant organic growth of businesses, and was deeply involved in the sale and purchase of multiple firms. He now serves on several boards of private companies and non-profits, including the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation. Joe is originally from St. Louis, where he and his wife of 35+ years met in the second grade. He received his BSME from Purdue University, and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
